    What CounterPick is

CounterPick is a League of Legends reference built around one question: who wins, against whom, and with what. It covers 172 champions, 3 832 head-to-head matchups and 205 items, refreshed at every patch so the numbers you read match the game you are queuing into.

Every champion page gives you the current build (starting items, core and late purchases, runes, summoner spells, skill order) and a counters page with the lanes to look for and the ones to dodge. Each matchup page goes one level deeper: win rate of the duel, tier, the skill priority that wins it and the items that make the difference. Win rates are split by rank, from Iron to Challenger, so you can read the bracket you actually play in rather than an average that means nothing to anyone.

There is no opinion in these pages, only the data, the sample behind it and the patch it comes from. When a percentage rests on too few games, it is shown as it is: a percentage, not a rule. Use the search bar above, or start from the role tier lists, and build your next pick on numbers.

Top 5 Champions - All Elos

The five champions with the highest overall win rate on the current patch, every rank and every role combined.

The win rate is the share of games won by the champion across all its games on the patch. Champions without data for this patch are left out. Roles are not separated here: a champion that wins a lot in one lane can appear even if it is weak elsewhere. Use the role tier lists below for a lane-by-lane view.

    Top Tier List

The 24 best-performing champions whose primary role is Top, ranked by overall win rate on the current patch, all ranks combined.

Each champion is listed under its main role only, the one it is played in most. A champion played in two lanes will not appear twice. The full list for this role, with pick rates, is on the tier list page.

    Jungle Tier List

The 24 best-performing champions whose primary role is Jungle, ranked by overall win rate on the current patch, all ranks combined.

Each champion is listed under its main role only, the one it is played in most. A champion played in two lanes will not appear twice. The full list for this role, with pick rates, is on the tier list page.

    Mid Tier List

The 24 best-performing champions whose primary role is Mid, ranked by overall win rate on the current patch, all ranks combined.

Each champion is listed under its main role only, the one it is played in most. A champion played in two lanes will not appear twice. The full list for this role, with pick rates, is on the tier list page.

    ADC Tier List

The 24 best-performing champions whose primary role is ADC, ranked by overall win rate on the current patch, all ranks combined.

Each champion is listed under its main role only, the one it is played in most. A champion played in two lanes will not appear twice. The full list for this role, with pick rates, is on the tier list page.

    Support Tier List

The 24 best-performing champions whose primary role is Support, ranked by overall win rate on the current patch, all ranks combined.

Each champion is listed under its main role only, the one it is played in most. A champion played in two lanes will not appear twice. The full list for this role, with pick rates, is on the tier list page.

    Top 10 Rising Champions

The ten champions whose win rate went up the most between the previous patch and the current one.

The green figure is the gain in percentage points, the white one is the current win rate. A big jump usually means a buff, an item change or a shift in the meta: it tells you where the game is moving, not who is the strongest right now. Champions with no change or no data are excluded.

    Popular Counter Picks

A selection of champions people most often look up counters for. Each card opens the counters page of that champion.

A counters page lists the opponents that beat the champion and the ones it beats, based on head-to-head win rates on the current patch. This selection is editorial, not a ranking: every champion has its own counters page, reachable from the search bar or the full champion list.

    Where the data comes from

All figures are aggregated match statistics for the current patch, stored per champion, per matchup and per item, and refreshed when a new patch goes live.

Win rates are computed from the games played on the patch and split by rank tier. A percentage built on a small number of games moves a lot from one patch to the next: check the sample size shown on the champion and matchup pages before treating it as a rule.

    Popular Builds

A selection of frequently looked-up builds. Each card opens the build page of that champion.

A build page shows the starting items, the core and late purchases, the runes, the summoner spells and the skill order, each with its pick rate and win rate on the current patch, plus the win rate by rank from Iron to Challenger. This selection is editorial, not a ranking: every champion has a build page.
